KEY VERSE : But Lot's wife looked back as she was following behind him, and she turned into a pillar of salt. (Gen. 19 vs 26).

Deliverance is an act whereby God rescues His people from peril.
God delivered Lot and his family from the destruction that would hit the city of Sodom and Gomorrah, with a strict charge not to look back.

This is the same charge we receive when we give our life to Christ. Everyone under the Salvation in Our Lord Jesus Christ has been  delivered from the bondage of sin and death. This state of freedom can only be maintained by walking daily with the Lord.

While others were following the Lord's leading and moving to the place of rest. Lots wife looked back, as if to take a final look at the beautiful city they would be missing because they chose to follow God's command, and she reaped the consequences immediately.

Like lot's wife, how many times have we looked back at our old sinful ways and wished we could go back to them? Notice that she (lot's wife) did not go back to the city she only looked back at it and was destroyed.

It is not until you carry out that sinful act. Lusting after any sin in your heart and also taking pleasure in those that  commits such sins makes you guilty of committing it already.

We as Children of God must learn to shun every action driven by desires for short term benefits and immediate gratifications.
The Bible says "But Jesus told him, anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the kingdom of God". (Luke 9 vs 62).

Sin has no benefit it will only rob you of the Blessings ahead and
What is ahead of us is far more greater than what we left behind.

If you have made a decision to follow Jesus, ensure to follow Him with all your heart.

Do not look back, there's absolutely nothing there for you.

#Keep moving forward.

Remain blessed.
