Your sins are not too big for God’s grace and forgiveness in Christ. Here’s a short story you should read from Luke 7:36-43.

He knew ahead that without His gift of salvation, that is, believing in Christ to be saved by grace through faith and His Spirit dwelling in you, that sin would be problem for you and it’s result would be death.

Because He loves you, He came to die for your sins and was raised back to life for your justification. Once you believe the gospel, you are made new. Your sins are forgiven and sin loses it grip over you. You are no longer indebted to sin but rather a child of righteousness.

What exactly is this gospel? This is a simple definition I learnt from a Pastor:
“The Gospel is that God has fulfilled His plan to accept the death of His son (Jesus) as a propitiation for the sins of mankind, He has raised Jesus from the dead, and has ever since bestowed eternal life on everyone who believes.”

Don’t wallow in guilt, Christ has made a way out. Just believe and He will do the work in you.

Here are verses to ponder upon and get that boost:

For sin pays its wage—death; but God's free gift is eternal life in union with Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23 GNT

For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life. (John 3:16 GNT

Because of our sins he was given over to die, and he was raised to life in order to put us right with God. (Romans 4:25 GNT
